Water Land LA King Paddle

Waterland’s LA King Paddle is a paddle-tail leech that revives the popular King Paddle through a collaboration between Hajime Murata and Ken Iyobe. Made in Japan using a hand-poured process, it features a distinctive diamond-cut shape on the paddle tail. The flat paddle section catches water, causing the tail to move during retrieves, falls, and bottom presentations, adding a clear attraction to the slim body.

The primary setups are Texas rigs and jighead rigs, and it can also be used as a trailer for rubber jigs. Its shape readily adapts to techniques suited to each rig, including dragging along the bottom, lift-and-fall presentations, and swimming. Available in 3.3-inch and 4-inch sizes, the 3.3-inch model is ideal when you want a compact presentation, while the 4-inch model is suited to situations where you want to emphasize the paddle’s presence. This paddle-tail worm combines the simple silhouette unique to a revived model with the finish of a hand-poured bait.
