Imakatsu Javallon Hard

IMAKATSU’s JAVALLON HARD is a multi-jointed swimbait that reproduces the JAVALLON’s unique full-body-driven action with a hardbait body, combining the lifelike presence of a soft bait with the water displacement, flash, and hooking performance of a hardbait. Unlike conventional lures that swim around a lip as a pivot point, it features multiple body sections that work in unison to create a writhing, full-body action. The dorsal fin converts rolling force into wobbling, while the two-point upper and lower connections and flat underside enhance swimming stability as the bait moves widely from side to side. The hard body generates flash that is difficult to produce with worm material, and some models are also equipped with a rattle sound.

Under the chin is a HYDRO-FOIL SPOILER that generates downforce to maintain the swimming posture and running depth. Starting the retrieve after counting down makes it easier to trace a desired depth. On a slow retrieve, it produces a smooth full-body action that grips the water, while on a fast retrieve, it swims with reduced tendency to rise. Thanks to its lipless design, twitching can also produce wide-sliding darts. It is primarily suited to a normal retrieve in open water and can also be used in current. The floating model is suited to dead-sticking on the surface, fast retrieves just beneath the surface, and jerks and twitches, while the slow-sinking model is designed for depth adjustment through countdowns. The 150 Mamba comes with both a JAVALLON tail and a Snake Tail, allowing for different actions depending on the tail shape.
