Imakatsu Elastomer Keeper

IMAKATSU’s Elastomer Keeper is a maintenance product developed to reduce the tackiness of elastomer materials and improve their handling and storage. To use, simply sprinkle an appropriate amount over the soft bait and coat it evenly. Because it is a fine treatment powder, applying it inside a resealable bag, such as a soft-bait bag, is recommended. It can be used not only with elastomer materials but also with standard soft baits.

When soft baits are stored in a tackle box or similar container, it helps reduce the tendency of the baits to stick to one another or to the storage compartment and makes it easier to control the bends and deformities that can develop during storage. Applying it evenly over the entire soft bait before fishing makes tacky elastomer materials easier to handle and helps ensure that the baits can be removed more easily from storage. As it is not a formula, it is also suitable for use in JB and NBC tournaments. Apply enough to cover the entire soft bait, coat it inside the bag, then shake off the excess before use.
