Imakatsu Iarrow 65

IMAKATSU’s iArrow 65 is a minnow/shad lure developed for situations that are difficult to handle with conventional I-shaped plugs. In addition to stable straight-line tracking, it is designed to produce a natural resting posture and darting action. A stabilizer effect is built into the lower section of the 65 mm body, helping it maintain a consistent posture and swim in a straight line with minimal deviation from slow to fast retrieves. Rolling swivels are used for the hook eyes, reducing water resistance and allowing the hooks to follow the lure more easily when a fish makes aggressive head shakes. The rear is equipped with either Wavy Hair or Dazzler Hair, creating lifelike tail movement and flash to attract fish.

The floating model is designed primarily to be left stationary on the surface. It can also be worked with a single jerk to make it dive once, then rise head-up toward the surface, producing a movement reminiscent of a small baitfish pecking at food on the water’s surface. The suspending model has a specific buoyancy setting suited to I-shaped retrieves just below the surface at slow speeds, and can also be drifted with the current or wind. Wavy Hair provides a subtle, natural presence, while Dazzler Hair is designed to reduce tail bites and attract fish with flash.
