Imakatsu Metal Craw Spin

IMAKATSU’s METAL CRAW SPIN is a new-concept metal jig that combines elements of a metal vibration lure, football jig, and tailspin jig, making it suitable for everything from lift-and-fall retrieves and swimming to a stair-step retrieve. Its triple-blade design helps prevent the lure from tipping over on the bottom. The main twin blades are made from high-specific-gravity phosphor bronze. Finished to an ultra-thin profile, they start spinning quickly with minimal movement and continue rotating even during short lifts. The lure features a natural, baitfish-like blade action with the pronounced vibration of a metal vibration lure intentionally subdued.

The basic presentation is a lift-and-fall retrieve similar to that of a metal vibration lure. It also handles slow- to medium-speed retrieves and a stair-step retrieve, dropping into the deeper sections of breaklines like a football jig. For a retrieve-focused presentation, the three-blade configuration, including the belly blade, is recommended. For lift-and-fall techniques or areas with frequent snags, a single-hook configuration with the belly blade removed is intended. The lure can also be rigged with a double hook or treble hook in place of the belly blade. By bending both wires forward so that the blades occasionally contact each other, you can create an erratic action resembling a fleeing shrimp. Available weights include 7 g, 9 g, 10 g, 11 g, 13 g, and TG 17 g.
