Imakatsu Eel Crawler

IMAKATSU’s eel Crawler is designed with a slender, straight profile reminiscent of a juvenile eel, combined with distinctive firmness and resilience. It takes advantage of the body’s movement and the minute vibrations produced by its ultra-thin eel fins. Despite its simple shape, the firm body maintains a moderate presence underwater, while the fins vibrate delicately when the bait is swum, creating a lifelike action. The 9-inch model is also available in a Slim Rib version, offered as a downsized variation of the existing 10-inch model.

Compatible with wacky rigs, neko rigs, and drop-shot rigs, it is particularly well suited to shaking presentations on a neko rig, making use of the body’s firmness and resilience. It can be worked with stationary shaking on the bottom, shaking while slowly moving it along, or a shaking swim lifted off the bottom. When used on a jighead wacky or drop-shot rig, it can also be tuned by placing the worm in the included blister pack for about a week to give it an S-shaped bend. With this bend set into the worm, it is intended to be fished with minimal manipulation, taking advantage of the silhouette’s ability to remain stationary.
