Imakatsu IK Zinx

IMAKATSU’s IK Zinx is designed to enhance the fundamental performance of a spinnerbait, with an emphasis on maintaining a consistent running depth for stable swimming through the mid-water column. Rather than amplifying vibration with a thin, flexible wire, it combines a strong super-hard wire with a unique Z-shaped upper arm to clearly transmit blade vibrations to the head and rod tip. The wire is lowered once into a Z shape before curving, a structure that stabilizes the lure’s posture and makes it easier to generate vibration even with a rigid wire. Attention has also been given to the sound produced by contact between the blade edge and the wire.

The rear-weighted, flattened baitfish-shaped head is designed to slip easily through obstacles such as weed and maintain its posture even against a headwind. It features original blades that combine the flash of a plain blade with the irregular reflections, water displacement, and turbulence of a hammered blade, making it suitable for slow-rolling after a curved fall and for horizontal retrieves through the mid-water column. This spinnerbait allows anglers to continue retrieving with a consistent target range in mind without having to constantly make fine depth adjustments. A Rimarik hook is used for penetration performance and durability, making it suitable for fishing techniques that involve contacting cover.
