Imakatsu Fujin Spider Trailer

IMAKATSU’s Fujin SPIDER Trailer is a finesse bug worm developed to imitate insects near the water’s surface by utilizing its buoyancy, allowing anglers to target wary fish with subtle presentations. The compact 2.5 cm body is made from floating worm material, providing buoyancy while also taking long-casting performance into consideration. The protrusions along the sides of the body catch water, and when rigged on its own with a trout hook or similar hook and shaken, they produce fine leg action and natural ripples.

In addition to pairing with the Fujin SPIDER Jig Head, it can also be used on its own. Hooking a trout hook through the center of the connecting section allows it to be fished as a floating wacky rig, drifting on the surface. When rigged on the 1 g model of the RV Jig, its highly buoyant material produces a slow fall that is close to a suspending presentation. During the fall, the legs vibrate subtly, making it suitable for sight fishing while watching the fish’s reaction and enticing it to strike. In addition to floating it and shaking it on the surface, it can be rigged with a jig head or lightweight jig to take advantage of its fall action and buoyancy.
