Abu Garcia’s ZoomSafari is designed as a multi-piece rod that is easy to carry to seaside fishing parks, managed fishing areas, ponds, rivers, and camping trips, and is suitable for a wide range of fishing styles, including lure fishing and bait fishing. The lineup is intended to offer models that are easy for both children and adults to handle, with options for various target species, including bass.

The blanks feature a tubular construction made from 95% carbon and 5% glass, while spigot joints are used to create a smooth transition in the blank’s bend at each joint. The rods are equipped with Fuji O-ring guides and feature an earth-tone design, along with a canvas rod case. The ZMSS-404UL and ZMSC-464L are four-piece rods, while the other models are five-piece rods for enhanced portability.

The spinning model ZMSS-505L is a 5-foot, light-power rod rated for lures weighing 2–8 g, with a regular-fast action that makes lightweight lures easy to handle. The baitcasting model ZMSC-464L is a 4-foot 6-inch, light-power rod rated for lures weighing 2–8 g, offering excellent maneuverability thanks to its short length. In addition, the ZMSC-665M features medium power and is rated for 9–28 g, while the ZMSS-705ML features medium-light power and is rated for 3–20 g. With differences in length, power, and action, the lineup can be selected to suit various fishing styles and lure weights.
