Active Direct Stick

ACTIVE’s Direct Stick is a rig component developed from the direct-mounted sinker rig, designed to let anglers combine their preferred hook and sinker. With the sinker positioned below the hook, its design makes it easier to detect bottom conditions while also taking improved casting distance into consideration. Made from stainless steel wire, it is available in Type A for hooks without an eye ring and Type B for hooks with an eye ring, allowing you to choose according to the wire shape.

For setup, the wire can be threaded through the hook, or the line can be tied first before threading on the sinker. It can also be set up by bending the wire with pliers or a similar tool to secure the hook, then cutting the tip and threading on the sinker. Type A is designed for directly attaching hooks without an eye ring, while Type B is used by hooking the wire onto a hook with an eye ring. The recommended hook size is #2 to #2/0, allowing you to select the combination according to the hook shape and sinker used.
