ACTIVE’s Caro Swivel is designed to help reduce line trouble that can easily occur with Carolina rigs. It uses a rotating rolling swivel to minimize line twist caused by the movement of the rig and during casting. The swivel features a non-slip body with a slip-resistant finish, making it easy to handle even when the line is tied on.
Available in S, M, and L sizes, it can be selected according to the line and rig configuration being used. In addition to standard Carolina rigs, it is also suitable for heavy Carolina rigs. For heavy Carolina rigs, it is intended to be used together with the Carolina Cushion, which absorbs shock during casting and hooksets to protect the knot connecting the line and swivel. Set it between the sinker and leader to take advantage of the rolling swivel’s rotating mechanism and help create a stable overall rig setup.
