YGK Yozami Olltolos

YGK Yotsuami’s OLLTOLOS is a PE line designed to provide the power needed to pull fish out of cover, along with easy handling on baitcasting tackle. Rather than relying solely on the softness commonly associated with conventional PE lines, it is engineered to achieve linearity and stiffness through its construction. It features the special WX8P1 structure, in which a single ultra-high-strength PE core is tightly compressed within a high-density WX8 braid, and is further treated with HPGZ (pressure-applied resin processing). This provides the strength and abrasion resistance needed for use around cover and grass, while also delivering the handling benefits of low stretch and direct transmission when setting the hook.

Because the line’s construction provides structural linearity that helps it maintain its stiffness, it is less prone to sagging during casts, contributing to reduced backlash and improved castability with baitcasting reels. It is designed for power fishing applications such as casting alongside cover, pitching lures into cover, and quickly pulling hooked fish away from structure. Its high modulus and low stretch also make it easier to feel and control the lure, allowing anglers to take advantage of the line’s stiffness and strength in setups focused on conquering cover.
