TH Tackle Sprink

T.H. Tackle’s SPRINK is a topwater plug developed as a small, slim minnow-shaped popper. It is designed to alert fish to its presence with a popping sound while its bite-sized body helps trigger strikes. Slim-bodied poppers tend to have smaller cups, so SPRINK incorporates a design that allows it to make a 180-degree table turn from a horizontal floating position. By having the mouth section scrape along the boundary between the water and air at the surface for an extended distance, it creates a splash even with its small cup.

The body has a perfectly round, straight shape, making it easy to cast long distances for its size and suitable for targeting boiling fish. Made of ABS resin, it measures 72 mm in length. Fe is the feather version, weighing 5.0 g. This model emphasizes splash and casting distance. Pr is the prop version, weighing 5.5 g. It also supports a straight retrieve that takes advantage of the water caught by the mouth section and the triangular wake created by its long body, as confirmed during development, making it suitable for searching small spots such as farm ponds. In addition to working it with the rod as a popper, the Pr can be retrieved straight with the prop to draw fish to the surface and keep them focused on the lure.
