S&N International’s LUUBA UNO is a lure retriever designed to guide a snagged lure along the line to the retrieval head at the tip, where it catches the snap and retrieves the lure. Featuring a lightweight, simple construction focused on retrieval performance, it is equipped with a fly reel-style spool in the body. The included cord can be wound onto the body for storage, making it easy to carry without taking up much space.
To use it, first tension the line attached to the snagged lure, then pass the line through the slit at the tip and set the LUUBA UNO onto the line. Lift the rod to create an angle between the line and the water’s surface, then slide the retrieval head along the line to the lure. When using a snap such as a cross-lock snap on the lure, pull the included cord once the tip has caught the snap to draw the lure back. The retrieval head uses a glow-in-the-dark material, making it easier to locate even in dark conditions. The included cord is 20 m long and has a strength rating of 39 kg. The body is made of ABS resin, while the tip section weighs 41 g and the total weight is 100 g.
