LSD Designs’ BIOVEX WEIGHT SEAL is a weight-tuning adhesive designed to be applied to lures to adjust buoyancy and sinking behavior. Intended for suspending or sinking tunes on minnows and other lures, it allows you to fine-tune how the lure floats or sinks by adding adhesive-backed weights directly to the lure body. Unlike sinkers attached to the hook, these weights are applied directly to the lure body for tuning.
Available in SS, S, M, L, and LL sizes, the SS is round, while the other sizes are oval. The weights are 0.15 g for SS, 0.25 g for S, 0.55 g for M, 1.2 g for L, and 1.5 g for LL, allowing you to select the appropriate size according to the desired adjustment range. A mixed pack combining S, M, and L sizes is also available for situations requiring multiple weights. The seals can be cut with scissors to match the lure’s shape and application area, making it possible to fit curved surfaces or limited spaces on the lure body. Before applying, remove any moisture or dirt from the lure surface, then firmly press the seal into the required position while checking the lure’s buoyancy and attitude. Because the lure’s balance changes depending on the application location and added weight, these seals are suitable for making adjustments in small increments.
