Teckellure

Teckel Lures is a premier JDM brand founded by the legendary angler Hideki Maeda, a global authority on topwater fishing with decades of experience in both the Japanese and U.S. tournament scenes. Teckel is defined by a philosophy of "sophisticated simplicity," creating specialized lures that offer a unique tactical advantage in the world’s most demanding waters. The Sprinker Revolution: Teckel Lures gained global fame with the release of the Sprinker Frog. By combining the snag-less capabilities of a hollow-body frog with the aggressive plopping sound of a premium tail-prop, Maeda-san created a revolutionary hybrid that triggers explosive strikes in heavy cover where standard prop-baits cannot go. Precision Engineering for Maximum Hook-Ups: Unlike many mass-produced frogs, Teckel lures are meticulously designed for optimal body collapse and hook exposure. Whether it is the Maracker (with its unique rattling tail) or the Honker (featuring twin metal blades), every lure is balanced to ensure a high hook-up ratio and a natural presence that fools even the wariest trophy bass. Master of the "Art of the Frog": Teckel Lures represent the peak of field-tested Japanese ingenuity. These are not just lures; they are specialized tools designed for the "thinking angler" who demands versatility and durability. Experience the authentic JDM innovation that has become a staple in the tackle boxes of professional anglers from the B.A.S.S. Elite Series to the reservoirs of Japan.
