Boreas’s ANOST SINKER is a lead sinker designed to securely hold the weight in a neko rig by screwing it into the body of a soft bait. Its threaded insert section helps prevent the sinker from pulling out once inserted into the worm, helping to minimize shifting during casting and retrieves. Designed for use with the Anost Straight, it can also be used with other soft baits and is compatible with standard neko rigs, in which the sinker is embedded in the nose of the worm.
Available weights include 2.5 g, 3.5 g, 5 g, 7 g, and 11 g, allowing you to choose according to the soft bait being used, the target depth, and the desired feel during operation. It is also well suited to relatively heavy neko rigs. When probing areas near the bottom, the sinker’s weight helps the rig sink, while rod movements and line-tension adjustments control the action of the soft bait. When rigging, check the centerline of the worm and insert the threaded section straight to help ensure secure weight retention and maintain the balance of the overall rig.
