Raid Japan Super Fish Roller

RAID JAPAN’s SUPER FISHROLLER is a shad-minnow-shaped soft bait based on the FISHROLLER, designed to combine a manageable profile for power mid-strolling with a natural presence in the water. The 3.5-inch model has been downsized to better match smaller baitfish while retaining the appeal of the larger sizes.

The entire body features distinctive three-dimensional scales designed to firmly catch water across the surface. Combined with a body material developed for maximum softness, this construction allows the body to gently undulate during the retrieve, producing the rolling action inherited from the FISHROLLER. The water-gripping effect of the three-dimensional scales reduces forward movement, creating an alluring, baitfish-like action as the lure slowly drifts through a consistent depth range.

The primary application is mid-strolling with a jig head, while it is also suitable for targeting the mid-water column with techniques such as hover strolling. When rigged on a jig head, setting the hook slightly behind the center of the body allows for a stronger rolling action. By taking advantage of the resistance created by the three-dimensional scales on the surface, it is best swum through the mid-water column at a steady speed while steadily winding the line, without moving the lure too quickly.
