Raid Japan Fishroller

RAID JAPAN’s FISHROLLER is a soft bait developed to make targeting the mid-water column with techniques such as mid-strolling and hover-strolling easier and more effective. Its hollow body features a realistic baitfish profile, with water-catching surfaces on the top, bottom, sides, and head. This design provides a moderate amount of resistance during the retrieve, allowing the body to roll easily in response to angler input. The three-dimensional detailing throughout the body and horizontally spread V-shaped tail catch water to create a natural action that subtly wavers as it moves.

Designed primarily for mid-strolling and hover-strolling with a jighead, it can also be used for mid-water swimming with a weightless rig and I-shaped presentations. The buoyancy provided by its hollow construction makes it easier to maintain the desired depth, and the basic approach is to let it swim while maintaining a steady retrieve and drawing out its rolling action. Setting the hook straight along the body’s centerline helps maintain the bait’s proper posture. Available in 3-inch and 4-inch sizes, it can be matched to the jighead being used and the size of the baitfish being targeted.
