The Heddon Plunking Basser is a smaller sibling of the Basser family, produced from 1922 to 1971, and is a topwater lure optimized for Japanese bass fishing since its model debut in 1934. It measures 89mm in length and weighs approximately 17g, equipped with a #2 hook. When dived on the surface, it wobbles enticingly, and during retrieval, it swims erratically to attract bass. Following the limited edition with reflective plates released for Smith's 50th anniversary in 2021, it is now being re-released in standard colors. Available in the X8450 series.
Some brands such as Shimano/Megabass cannot be sold overseas due to contracts.
