Deps Sakamata Swimmer

deps’ SAKAMATA SWIMMER is a soft bait designed for swimming, combining a Sakamata body optimized for swimming with a shad tail to achieve a stable swimming posture and versatility across a wide range of depths. The lower section of the body uses a high-specific-gravity material with a 40% salt content, while the dorsal side uses a low-specific-gravity, salt-free material to lower the center of gravity. Fins on the sides of the body stabilize its posture, while the roll generated by the tail amplifies water displacement. The thick shad tail firmly catches water and swings steadily from slow to fast retrieves, creating an appealing action with an amplitude that makes the body undulate. It also uses ATTRIX, a proprietary material formulated with a unique blend of ingredients and scent.

The 5.3-inch model can be used for weightless swimming and as a swim jig trailer, as well as for dragging along the bottom on a Texas rig. Its depth is easy to adjust according to retrieve speed and rig, allowing for a variety of swimming presentations, such as swim jigs in cold water from winter through spring and weightless surface presentations in summer.
