Decoy Hook Peg

DECOY Hook Peg is a peg-style securing component for fixing hook systems extended with wire or assist line to the bodies of large worms and swimbaits. It is designed to keep the hook stable against the lure body while allowing the peg to come free after a fish is hooked, separating the movement of the hook system from the lure to help reduce pulled hooks and limit damage to the lure body.

It features a simple, straight shape that is easy to insert into elastomer bodies, along with barbs that help prevent it from pulling out. To use, position the hook fitted with wire or assist line along the lure, then insert the Hook Peg into the body to secure it. It can be used to peg swimbait hooks or wire in place, as well as to secure assist hooks on large worms. L-14 is size M. Compatibility varies depending on the hook size and shank diameter, including those of treble hooks, so check compatibility with the hook being used.
