Daiwa D Snap Light

DAIWA’s D-SNAP LIGHT is a snap designed with an emphasis on reduced weight and easy lure changes. It features a slim top shape that securely holds the leader and helps prevent shifting, a wide bottom shape that allows lures to produce free and natural action, and a wide-angle out-hook shape that makes opening and closing easier for smooth lure changes. In addition, its symmetrical center-balanced design helps prevent the snap from interfering with the lure’s movement by shifting to one side.

Available in sizes from SSS to LL, the D-SNAP LIGHT features stepped wire diameters and breaking strengths. The appropriate size can be selected according to the lure and line being used, from small lures to relatively heavier lures. For tying the line, the Palomar knot is officially recommended: pass the line through the snap twice, tie an overhand knot, pass the snap through the resulting loop, and slowly tighten the knot. In addition to the standard version, value packs are also available, making the D-SNAP LIGHT suitable for fishing trips where snaps are changed frequently.
