Kureha
Kureha Corporation changed the fishing world forever in 1971 by developing and releasing the world’s first fluorocarbon fishing line under the brand name Seaguar. As the original inventor, Kureha possesses a level of technical expertise and history that no other line manufacturer can claim.
Total Integrated Production: What truly sets Kureha apart is their unique "Seed-to-Spool" manufacturing process. Unlike other brands that purchase resin from outside sources, Kureha develops the raw chemical resin (PVDF) in-house. This vertical integration allows for absolute quality control from the molecular level to the final extrusion, ensuring unrivaled consistency and strength.
The Gold Standard of Performance: Seaguar is the definitive benchmark for abrasion resistance, high sensitivity, and near-invisibility underwater. From the legendary "Grandmax" series to specialized tournament-grade lines, Kureha’s technology provides the ultimate tactical advantage, allowing anglers to target the most cautious trophy fish with total confidence.
Unmatched JDM Reliability: For over 50 years, Kureha has remained at the forefront of line technology. By choosing Seaguar, you are utilizing the original, precision-engineered fluorocarbon that has defined the standards for the entire global fishing industry.
