Goober Pheromone Cherry

GOOBER’s PHEROMONE CHERRY is a worm hook developed for assembling the “Cherry Rig,” an advanced version of the leaderless drop-shot rig. Its construction directly connects the hook eye to the wire, limiting the rig’s overall range of movement while reducing tangling between the wire and hook. When a worm is rigged, water can easily flow along its underside, helping produce a natural action. With its simple integrated hook-and-wire design, it maintains the worm’s feel and allows you to work around cover and structure while detecting changes in the bottom.

To use it, rig a worm onto the PHEROMONE CHERRY, thread a bullet sinker onto the wire, then bend the wire to the desired position with pliers to secure it. By adjusting the wire length and sinker position, it can be used as a Cherry Rig for probing the bottom. The line, sinker, and hook remain neatly aligned, making it suitable for techniques that use leverage to free the rig from snags. Color and specification variations are available according to the type and size of hook used.
