Evergreen Combat Lures

EVERGREEN’s Combat Lures are a series of hard baits developed with an emphasis on proven reliability, designed to become dependable standards that can be used for years. The lineup includes the Bank Shad, which produces a tight action on a slow retrieve; the Bank Shad MID, which offers improved casting distance with baitcasting tackle through its larger size, along with a diving range of 2.0–2.5 m; the Royal Flash, which pursues a natural swimming action through its multi-section body; and the Royal Flash Jr., a compact model specially designed with a four-section body.

The Bank Shad combines an ultra-thin lip with a slow-floating configuration to grab the water even on an extremely slow retrieve and produce a small, tight-pitch action. Its aerodynamic body design and tungsten weight-transfer system also enhance casting distance and accuracy. The Bank Shad MID features a leaf-shaped wide lip and a tungsten sub-weight to achieve a quick start-up and steep diving angle, while maintaining a stable action from dead-slow to high-speed retrieves. The Royal Flash uses a five-section body and flat-sided shape to produce a rolling, undulating swim at slow speeds, transitioning to a tight, high-pitch action as the retrieve speed increases. In addition to a straight retrieve, it is also effective for dead-sticking and producing flashes with twitches. The Royal Flash Jr. features a four-section body, a circuit-board round lip, and a tungsten weight that also serves as a rattle, condensing the action of a multi-section big bait into a compact, easy-to-handle model.
