Imakatsu Lazy Swimmer

IMAKATSU’s Lazy Swimmer is a natural swim bait featuring a Demon Tail that swings from side to side like a pendulum, producing a natural swimming action and water displacement even on a dead-slow retrieve. A buoyancy insert is built into the body, and inserting a nail sinker into the belly allows the angler to adjust the buoyancy from suspending to dead-slow sinking, with a primarily horizontal posture. It is normally designed to be retrieved slowly beneath the surface, while cutting along the tail’s central groove converts it into a split-tail design that can produce a darting action with a jerk from a stationary position.

Based on the 6-inch model, the 7-inch version features a redesigned body and internal weight, increasing overall volume while maintaining a body height designed with hook-setting performance in mind. The 9-inch model offers an even larger profile and presence with its oversized body and specially shaped tail. The 7-inch model is designed for treble hooks, with a size #1 hook at the front and a size #2 hook at the rear, while the 9-inch model primarily uses a size 3/0 front treble hook and also accommodates a size 1/0 rear assist hook or hook installation in the side hook holes. The 3.9-inch model uses Slimey 3D Realism, combining a special surface coating with three-dimensional sculpting, and is suitable for hover strolling and mid-strolling. Including the elastomer version, this series can be selected according to size, material, and color presentation.
