The Jackson Bubble Magic comes in two types: a floating version and a sinking version, both featuring a spherical body shape sandwiched between plates.
The floating model creates ripples with subtle shakes and can be made to pop with a more vigorous rod action to attract fish. When retrieved, it can be used like a crankbait, swimming just below the surface.
The sinking model quickly reaches the bottom while swinging its ball section from side to side. Once on the bottom, it raises the ball section to adopt a vertical posture that makes it easier for fish to pick up. It can be retrieved with a digital winding technique or at a slow, steady speed, and when the rod is held upright, it can swim through the mid-water like a spoon, enticing fish.
